The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls was founded in 1922 by a member of the Masonic Lodge. Today, membership is open to any girl between the ages of 11-20 regardless of Masonic affiliation. Members participate in service projects and fund raisers while focusing on seven colors of the rainbow, representing character, love, religion, nature, immortality, fidelity, patriotism and service.
